Through Glass Interactive Touch Foil
Our unique interactive foil transforms any non-metallic material (up to 25mm thick) into an interactive window. We use the projected capacitive technology for our touch foils, making the product ideal for an extensive range of interactive applications such as interactive shop windows, trade shows, museums, meeting rooms and much more.
Default sizes vary between 30inch to 114inch (4:3 and 16:9 ratio). All standard sizes are being shipped to dealers worldwide within one week (when in stock). Each foil comes with USB connector with cable, driver software, installation video's and user guide. Our driver software runs on all major operating systems (Windows, Macintosh and Linux).
How It Works
The interactive touch foil can be combined with one of our rear projections foils or LCD displays.
A rear projection foil is mounted, in combination of the touch foil, to the inside of shop window. The projected image on the projection foil can be seen from the outside.
By the touch foil, the projection foil becomes interactive. In this way it is possible for the passer-by to interact with the shop window.
This is just one of the many options that are possible with our through glass interactive touch foil.
Fixing Options
There are many options to install the interactive foil. The choice depends on the type of installations for which the touch foil will be used.
Removable Option with Cling Film
The touch foil is attached to a removable cling film for attaching to glass surfaces only. With this cling film you can carefully removing the touch foil from the glass and be re-used a number of times without damaging the touch foil. The cling film will be damaged and therefor not be usable
Permanent Lamination
Optically clear acrylic permanent adhesive is applied to the touch foil during manufacture and is therefor suitable for applying the touch foil to glass and acrylic. It is not possible to remove the touch foil without damaging it and being re-used.
Semi-Permanent Lamination
A special optically clear acrylic permanent adhesive is applied to the touch foil during manufacture for applying the touch foil to glass and acrylic. The interactive touch foil can be easily re-positioned during installation and removed without leaving a residue for up to 1 year. It is not possible to remove the touch foil without damaging it and being re-used.
No Fixing Option
It is possible to install the interactive touch foil without any fixing options. With this option you can use the touch foil where no fixing option is needed.

* When choosing the double-glazing option we recommend limiting functions to only touch function (not touch and drag function). The drag functionality is limited due to the reduction in the scan rate used to achieve the touch and drag function through thicker materials.
We recommend using a test foil during the client survey for double construction glass, due to the variance in double construction glass we are unable to guarantee the foil will function in all cases.
